Meet Tracey Smith, M.S. CCC-SLP

Tracey Smith, a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1998, earned her degrees from the University of Montevallo. She began her career at HealthSouth in Panama City, FL, and later worked as the sole SLP at Baptist Montclair in Birmingham for 9 years where she founded a Stroke Support Group and treated a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Afterward, she became a Rehab Director at a skilled nursing facility starting a Dementia Support Group and getting certified in VitalStim swallowing therapy. In 2019, Tracey joined Encompass Lakeshore as a Rehab Liaison helping patients qualify for inpatient rehab. Since 2022, she’s been a Care Manager at LifeCare Solutions applying her SLP and rehab expertise to support clients across Alabama and Georgia.
